摘要： The article discusses the technological race which is occurring in the realm of computer sciences and could have an enormous impact for those who rely on encrypted communications like the high-capacity quantum computer that enable to quickly and easily bust through modern-day encryption, thereby exposing top secret data and information. It states that computers rely on photons, neutrons, protons and electrons that are collectively known as qubits.

摘要： This paper attempts to present a novel application of Binary Artificial Bat algorithm for more effective location management in cellular networks. The location management is a mobility management task, which involves tracking of the mobile stations to locate their exact positions so that an incoming call or data can be routed to the intended mobile user. The location management cost comprises of the costs incurred by two processes, namely location registration and location search. This work focuses on network cost optimization, using Binary Artificial Bat algorithm for reporting cell planning strategy, which has not been reported yet. Results of the proposed algorithm have been compared with that of Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO) and Binary Differential Evolution (BDE) for some reference and realistic networks. The proposed approach is found to perform as good as other state-of-art techniques reported in the literature in terms of accuracy in solution, but it shows perceptible improvement in convergence speed.

摘要： The article discusses the move of manufacturers to leverage data and explore costs to take the relationship between human worker and robot in their operations to the next level. According to Jochen Köckler of trade fair organiser Deutsche Messe, artificial intelligence may play a significant role in revolutionising the production and energy industries. The dominance of the use of collaborative robots or cobots in manufacturing facilities around the world is also tackled.

摘要： It with is difficult either to little teach prior computer knowledge programming of programming to students or weak problem-solving skills. Often, teachers will introduce a new programming construct, illustrate its use in abstract situations, and then expect students to demonstrate mastery given a "real-world" solution. This article addresses several techniques that impact the issue of reducing cognitive load on novice programming students, including the use of worked examples, pair programming, and live-coded modeling. The paper builds a case for utilizing these pedagogical approaches in the K-12 classroom based on prior research on reducing cognitive load for introductory programming students. ©2019 ACM

摘要： This paper investigates how high school students in an introductory computer science (CS) course approach computing in the logic programming (LP) paradigm. This qualitative study shows how novice students operate within the LP paradigm while engaging in foundational computing concepts and skills: students are engaged in a cyclical process of abstraction, reasoning, and creating representations of their ideas in code while also being informed by the (procedural) requirements and the revision/debugging process. As these computing concepts and skills are also expected in traditional approaches to introductory K-12 CS courses, this paper asserts that LP is a viable paradigm choice for high school novices.

摘要： In response to the demand for cybersecurity professionals, schools are developing new academic programs in cybersecurity. The first four cybersecurity programs accredited by the ABET illustrate different ways to offer a four-year undergraduate cybersecurity degree.

摘要： This study describes the social and demographic profile of the first generation of users of marketed virtual reality (VR) viewers in Spain and, subsequently, it assesses the interest in its use as a learning tool. For that purpose, an online questionnaire created ad hoc was administered to a sample of 117 participants. The relationship between twelve variables was analysed comparing means through the Snedecor's F distribution and the contingency tables through the Chi-squared test and Somers' D. Among other issues, it was concluded that the virtual reality user profile at present corresponds to a person older than 36, mainly men, with higher education and having acquired their viewer no longer than one year ago. Concerning the interests of virtual reality users as a learning tool, only a few of them currently use virtual reality for this aim, but they mainly show an interest in using the virtual reality as a learning method and they feel optimism regarding the future use of this technology as a learning tool. However, this is not the case among users of video game consoles (PSVR), who are mainly men not interested in their use as a learning tool at present. Finally, it can be stated that current use as a learning tool among teachers and students is occasional and preferably via smartphones.

摘要： In this paper, a case-supported principle-based behavior paradigm is proposed to help ensure ethical behavior of autonomous machines. We argue that ethically significant behavior of autonomous systems should be guided by explicit ethical principles determined through a consensus of ethicists. Such a consensus is likely to emerge in many areas in which autonomous systems are apt to be deployed and for the actions they are liable to undertake. We believe that this is the case since we are more likely to agree on how machines ought to treat us than on how human beings ought to treat one another. Given such a consensus, particular cases of ethical dilemmas where ethicists agree on the ethically relevant features and the right course of action can be used to help discover principles that balance these features when they are in conflict. Such principles not only help ensure ethical behavior of complex and dynamic systems but also can serve as a basis for justification of this behavior. The requirements, methods, implementation, and evaluation components of the paradigm are detailed as well as its instantiation in both a simulated and real robot functioning in the domain of eldercare.
