摘要： Ley n° 10.639, sancionada en 2003, proporcionó una especie de estímulo para larealización de proyectos y obras que contemplanun carácter educativo dirigido a lasinnumerablesmanifestaciones y expresiones de la diversa cultura brasileña. Así, a través de una relación dialógica entre laUniversidad y una escuela estatal de Divinópolis (MG), este proyectotuvo como objetivo, enlaformación de graduados de secundaria, rescatarlaimportancia de cultura negra y laaceptación de ladiversidadenlasociedadbrasileña. Para esto, la investigación se centró en una cualitativa y utilizamos como método larevisión de la literatura sobre el tema encuestión y lacelebración de reuniones y talleres sobre la samba y su contexto histórico-social, buscando dilucidar las respectivas herencias de laesclavitud. A partir de lasdiscusiones sobre el tema, fueposible observar que una gran parte de losestudiantesestaba sensibilizada sobre temas que incluyenprejuicios, violencia y racismo que aúnprevalecenenlasociedad. Además, estaba claro que tales debates y discusionespuedenayudar y colaborar en una reafirmación de laactitud de losestudiantesconrespecto a la cultura negra. Se concluye que elproyecto de extensióncolaboró para que los graduados de secundaria pudieran constituir una percepción social diferente de laascendencia africana y, al mismotiempo, ayudaron a repensar temas tan caros como laaceptacióndelotro y sus respectivas diferencias. 摘要： This paper introduces a proposed approach to estimate the optimal parameters of the photovoltaic (PV) modules using in-field outdoor measurements and manufacturers' datasheet as well as employing the nonlinear least-squares fitting algorithm. The main goal is to determine the optimal parameter values of the implemented model which are: series resistance, reverse saturation current, photocurrent, ideality factor and shunt resistance in case of the five parameters model. A Microsoft Excel spreadsheet is developed in order to perform modeling and analysis of the parameters analytical initial values using manufacturer datasheet specifications regarding to the changing in solar irradiance and ambient temperature. Then, the sum of the squared residuals between in-field measured and simulated data are calculated and minimized using Excel solver in order to obtain the optimal values of the parameters simultaneously, to describe the best fit for the outdoor measured data. The proposed approach is used to find the optimal parameters of the PV module TRINA TSM-295 using an array tester. The convergence confidences of the estimated parameters are presented and assessed in an easy way. This approach allows all parameters to be optimized, simultaneously. The results are verified and compared with other research studies for different PV cell technologies. The obtained results are useful for the tested PV module manufacturer and assess the performance of the products in different weather conditions.

摘要： The study aimed to explore Vietnamese computer science (CS) majors' intentions of entering computer science professions in the future and to examine the factors influencing the intentions applying the theory of planned behavior as the framework. There are questionnaire surveys of 725 Vietnamese CS majors and were analyzed using path analysis by SPSS Statistics 17.0.1. We found that the CS majors' intentions of entering CS professions were moderately strong. The CS majors' intentions of entering CS professions were directly influenced by the endeavor towards the expectation, subjective norm, and perceived expectation control. In addition, CS majors' intentions of entering CS professions were also indirectly influenced by expectation desire *outcome endeavor evaluation vis-a-vis the effect on endeavor, by normative desire *motivation to comply vis-a-vis the effect on subjective norm, and by control desire * perceived facilitation vis-a-vis the effect on perceived expectation control.

摘要： The growing demand for computational power has led to the emergence of large-scale data centers that consume massive amounts of energy, thus resulting in high operating costs and CO2 emission. Furthermore, cloud computing environments are required to provide a high Quality of Service (QoS) to their clients and, therefore, need to handle power shortages. An optimized virtual machine allocation to physical hosts lowers energy consumption and allows for high-quality services. In this study, a novel solution was proposed for the allocation of virtual machines to physical hosts in cloud data centers using the Krill Herd algorithm, which is the fastest collective intelligence algorithm recently introduced. The performance of the proposed method was evaluated using the CloudSim simulator, and the results are suggestive of a 35% reduction in energy consumption.

摘要： Gamification involves incorporating elements of online games, such as points, leaderboards, and badges into non-game contexts, in order to improve engagement with both employees and consumers. The main point of this paper is, to sum up, what previous authors investigated in the field of Gamification. An analysis of the literature covering 50 papers from 2011 to 2016 was conducted, using Leximancer software, to determine and shape the main themes and concepts proposed in gamification papers. Answering our research question, "What guidelines may provide to future research, the key themes and concepts found in published scientific papers on gamification?", we conclude that the researchers identified eight themes (gamification; game; use; users; business; points; engagement; learning) and twenty-eight related concepts. The present systematic review contributes to establishing possible guidelines for prospective studies, based on the analyzed papers, considering particularly their 'Conclusions' and on the 'Future research' sections, integrating game design contents in business, learning and education. Further, highlights the usefulness of Leximancer for qualitative content analysis, in this field of research.

摘要： Unplugged activities on computer science - possibly performed in the fresh air together with classmates - are fun for many children and foster computational thinking. The primary goal is to become aware of CS concepts without programming. Nevertheless, unplugged experience might also be useful for software development in the classroom.

摘要： Signal processing courses form usually a common block within the curriculum of electrical engineering and computer science undergraduate studies. While signal processing is the science behind many technologies used in our everyday life, students usually feel that the practical use of signal processing subjects is obscured due to their intensive theoretical perspective. In this context, audio signal processing is a discipline where many general signal processing concepts can be easily experienced with sound. Specifically, spatial audio, i.e., the manipulation of audio signals with the aim of capturing and/or recreating the spatial impression of sound, provides an excellent and appealing application framework for signal processing education. This paper presents SART3D, an open-source MATLAB toolbox that facilitates spatial audio and signal processing education by enabling students to focus on the implementation and testing of core algorithms and to experience their own results using real-time processing. The time required for other nonrelevant aspects, such as hardware and driver set-up or user interaction, is significantly reduced. Experience evaluated throughout four academic years and 45 students (25% female) indicate they felt particularly engaged when SART3D was included in the course, improving their performance and understanding of the subject. In this context, the four factors defined by the Student Course Engagement Questionnaire (skills, emotional, participation, and performance) were analyzed to assess engagement in its multiple dimensions.

摘要： For this issue, we are pleased to have guest editor Dr. Tonia Sutherland, who is currently an assistant professor on the faculty of the Department of Information and Computer Sciences at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. She served as co-chair of the 2018 Archival Education and Research Institute (AERI), held in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, and has selected several key papers from that conference for this issue. This is our second issue to feature scholarship nurtured at AERI, and we hope to have the opportunity to publish more important work from emerging AERI scholars in future issues. Dr. Sutherland provides an introduction to these papers, which were written by R.J. Ramey, Krystell Jimenez, Trudi Wright, and Edward Benoit.
